Original Blues Brother, Bobby Harden, Sings for Residents

Bobby Harden, Original Blues Brother, delights the residents of Isabella with song!

On a cold winter’s afternoon, Bobby Harden, New York City’s acclaimed soul/ rhythm and blues singing sensation, thrilled residents of Isabella Nursing Home with fresh renditions of famous songs of Otis Redding, B. B. King, James Brown – and even some of his own compositions.

Mr. Harden travels the world with his phenomenal eight piece SOUL PURPOSE band, an amazingly tight, funky band of brothers and sisters.  Chris Carter, who plays the electric guitar, came to Isabella and accompanied Mr. Harden.

The residents of Isabella House were delighted to have this extraordinary talent visit with them. He sang his songs passionately – and engaged everyone to sing along – and is some cases dance to the music.

As one of the residents said "This didn’t just make my day – it made my year – and the year’s  just getting started!”

Mr. Harden told everyone that he would love to come back – and we certainly hope he will return to Isabella – real soon!
