Fundraiser for Isabella's Community-Based Programs

In the past two decades, we have made a special effort to expand our services beyond our nursing home and senior housing to include a number of new programs that benefit residents of the community, such as the 50+ Club, Senior Resource Center, Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs), Case Management, Adult Day Health Care and Child Day Care.

On Thursday, June 17, 2010, Isabella hosted its second annual fund raising event for our community-based programs. Once more we celebrated "A Night in the Heights - an Evening to Benefit Isabella's Community Programs." The evening featured a live art sale, displaying the work of community artisans, and a live auction. The event offered a variety of appetizers and wine tasting. Friends, program recipients, staff members and benefactors joined us. Annette A. Aguilar and StringBeans Quartet Latin Jazz Brazilian entertained us for the evening and Peter Walsh of Coogan’s Restaurant was the evening auctioneer. Cabrini Wines provided the wine tasting and the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance assisted us in the Art Sale.

We at Isabella are truly grateful for the community support and the enthusiasm displayed at our fundraiser. A special thanks goes out to all the staff that helped make this event such a success.
