Scope of Practice

Provide secretarial support to the Administrator and Director of IVCI

Essential Functions

Keeps all manuals updated and accessible to staff. Assists in creating and updating departmental forms, announcements, etc. Maintains office forms so only current forms are available. Organizes and maintains confidential and other administrative data. Maintains computer files for easy access.

Facilitates data collection through direct entry, and organizes reports based on requested information, e.g. bar graphs, and complies statistical information and reports as delegated.

Arranges Quality Improvement Committee meetings and other events and assists with other supportive administrative tasks as appointment, meetings, and interviews for senior level staff.

Coordinates and schedules all instructors for training calendar.

Liaison with outside agencies and other departments to ensure completion of work orders and facilitates communications as indicated. 

Requirements and Qualifications

·         Associates degree or equivalent.

·         Minimum of two years experience as an Adminitrative Assistant 

·         Typing skills 60 words/minute

·         Computer skills with advanced training in Health Care program, ExcelWord

·         Must be able to read, write and speak English
